BillQuick 2009 will be released March 18, 2009.
The last of the pre-launch activity is racing forward -- manuals
being printed, CDs being burned, marketing materials completed,
training updated, internal training, and more.
It's Green?
Yes, Green, and in a lot of
ways.
First, BillQuick users asked for a little more fun in their
software. BillQuick 2009 includes four new color themes,
including the new 'in' color: Pear
(the green type of pear).
Click on User Preferences and match BillQuick’s skin to your
personality. In addition to Pear, new themes include Black, Dark
Blue, Aero and Trendy. Of course, our choice (and the new
default) is Go Green!
More BillQuick 2009 "green" comes with the new
PDF option for the BillQuick Reference Guide. You can purchase a
printed copy or a PDF copy. Save a
tree, save the planet!
Finally, the "green" focus extends to features
themselves. It's the money green
from new features and improvements that maximize your billable
time. Like. . .
Dashboard
- At-a-glance metrics for project balances, unbilled hours,
billing, aging, cash flow and more. Dashboard gives you more
time to manage projects, nurture client relationships, and
manage profits.
File Linking
- Scanned documents, Word files, Excel spreadsheets, audio
files, drawings, graphics . . . any file can be linked to
projects, clients, expense entries, time entries, vendor bills
and purchase orders. It's all in one place as well as
digital and green.
Cost + Contracts
- BillQuick 2009 introduces two new contract types: Cost + Fixed
Fee and Cost + Percentage. Business rules for these powerful
features flow from project profiles to invoices and reports.
Retainage
- Specify the retainage percentage and maximum amount for any
project. BillQuick automatically handles retainage during
billing and on invoices, tracking and reporting on it over the
life of a project.
