BillQuick 2009 is
the 10th new version in 14 years. Using expanded resources, BQE
Software is adding and enhancing more than 150 new and improved features
in BillQuick 2009 and add-on modules.
One of the top
new features in 2008 was the Simple Time Card. Within weeks of
this new capability becoming available, BillQuick Users began
asking for its counterpart:
Simple Expense Log

Designed for the
busy timekeeper who needs to record expenses daily or
quickly after a trip, Simple Expense Log allows you to enter expenses
as an Amount or Units. While most people enter amounts for
expenses, you can switch to units with a quick click.
When entering
units, BillQuick automatically applies the default unit cost,
markup rate and tax rates to calculate the cost amount, taxes
and charge amount behind the scenes. For example, in the above
screen the $125 for mileage is the result of 250 miles driven
times 50 cents unit cost per mile. You can view the full detail
of expenses on the Expense Log screen.
When entering
amounts, you simply enter the expense ID and amount to charge.
Again, markup, taxes and charge amount are computed behind the
scene. For Canadian,
Australian, European and other BillQuick users, you can indicate
whether the amount entered includes taxes.
